Connecting through IP Phones
All schools and other organizations connected to SchoolNet can now talk to each other using IP (Internet Protocol) Phone.

One you have installed and configured your IP Phone, you can communicate with other schools and other places connected to SchoolNet. You can call SchoolNet Help Desk by dialling 200.
The following table lists the IP Phones of connected schools in ALL districts.
All the above IP phone numbers is available as a single zip file for download.
IP Phone Number format is given below:
X-xxx-xxx
First X indicates the type of the organization:
1 – Schools
2 - Computer Resource Centers
3 – Provincial ICT Centers
4 – National Colleges of Education
5 – NIE
6 – MoE
2nd set of “xxx” indicates the area code of the school and this is same as the area code for regular telephones.
E.g. 011 is for Colombo
3rd set of “xxx” indicates the sequence number within the district.
E.g. 1-025-011 is for Anuradhapura M.M.V.
Note: When using, please use the above number as “1025011” without the "-"
